🧱 Why the 3D SurveyScan website Refresh?
Our new look isn’t just cosmetic, it’s a reflection of our commitment to staying ahead of the curve and serving our clients (both commercial and domestic), partners, and teams with clarity and confidence.
We are really excited to have incorporated our sister company, Charnwood Building Plans, into 3D SurveyScan. This has allowed us to combine the knowledge and expertise from both companies. Charnwood Building Plans as been running for 25 years and is an Charnwood Borough Council accredited agent. Specialising in predominantly domestic project such as planning permission applications and building regulation drawings for domestic properties, including conservation area, listed building status projects and change of use.
2025 has also seen the retirement of one of 3D SurveyScan’s founding partners, Ron Smith. Ron was an important part of the concept and birth of 3D SurveyScan. We are delighted that Ron decided that full-time retirement was not for him, and he still brings his knowledge and expertise to many projects.
As the technology within the sector continues to expand and improve, the use of 3D laser scan surveys, and the variety of deliverable available, is becoming more widely used across the construction industry. We remain right there at the forefront of this future focused way of working.
